Using Exchange Server 5.5 as an LDAP Server

If you have LDAP User Lists that connect to Exchange Server 5.5, you need to add the following section to wsw.cfg:

[Proxy\ProxyServer\Authentication\LDAP]
v:RetryAttribute=$Scn

Customizing the DNS cache

By default, this version of MIMEsweeper for Web caches successful DNS look-ups for one hour and failed DNS look-ups for one minute. You can customize this behaviour by editing the [Proxy\ProxyClient] section in wsw.cfg:

[Proxy\ProxyClient]
v:DnsMaxSize=$I4096
v:DnsEntryLifeTime=$I3600
v:DnsFailureLifeTime=$I60

where:

DnsMaxSize - This defines the maximum number of entries in the cache. It is recommended you do not alter this value unless specifically instructed to do so. The default is 4096 entries.

DnsEntryLifeTime - This defines the time in seconds that successful DNS look-ups are cached. The default is 3600 seconds (one hour).

DnsFailureLifeTime - This defines the time in seconds that failed DNS look-ups are cached. The default is 60 seconds.
