MAILsweeper Business Suite installs the following components:

Installation

MAILsweeper for SMTP 4.3 SP2

MAILsweeper for SMTP analyses incoming and outgoing email at the Internet gateway, allowing organisations to implement management and security policies to block inappropriate emails, comply with legal requirements, and increase user productivity.

MAILsweeper for SMTP screens emails based on source, content and destination. Emails entering and leaving the organisation at the SMTP gateway are transparently subjected to filtering, monitoring and reporting.

Components

MAILsweeper Anti-Spam Solution

MAILsweeper Anti-spam Solution allows organisations to build their own anti-spam profile that becomes as personal to their company as the people who work for it. High performance anti-spam filtering results in high rates of spam detection and low false-positives. A datafeed of known spam (spamActive) compares new incoming email against known spam profiles, and addresses to look for similarities in the message structure and message content. Any incoming emails that match the latest spam profiles immediately trigger the anti-spam policy, that effectively blocks unsolicited email.

Components

REMOTEmanager

REMOTEmanager is designed to help companies enjoy the benefits of even greater management control of their MAILsweeper application. REMOTEmanager is a productivity tool that not only reduces the administration overheads needed to process blocked emails but also reduces the time it takes to deal with them.

Components

Report Center

Report Center provides remote access to numerous reports categorised in a number of report groups. Reports analyse individual threats and patterns and display the way Exchange Mail Policy Servers process email messages and track the receipt and delivery of individual email messages passing through the system.

The Report Center lets you access report data from any PC on the system. Open by using the Start menu.

Components

Personal Message Manager (PMM)

With the increasing threat of spam, there is a greater demand on the System Administrator’s time. Personal Message Manager (PMM) removes some of this demand by allowing end users to manage their own quarantined messages. All PMM users are notified about messages that need to be managed. A link connects users to their PMM message area where they identify the quarantined messages and either forward them to their Inbox, or delete them.
